Co-Incidence: Evidence that your life is ‘On Purpose’?

September 18th, 2010 by Kim Jensen

What a coincidence!

Upon my decision to write about this amazing phenomenon, coincidence, I knew I’d want to peruse some  Deepak Chopra to get his added insight on the subject.

Out of the multiple books of his that sit on my shelf, I also knew I wanted the one with the orange stripe down the center. So I find it and the title says: “The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire”…’Cool, this sounds good’ -I say to myself.

So I put on my glasses and what do I see, besides a lot better? Along that small orange stripe of the book it reads; “Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence”!

WTFor-cryin-out-loud?! Coincidences happen! The ‘how’ and ‘why’ are bogglers of the mind… Come on, let’s explore!

Is it a Science?

Scientists have been studying the flight formation of birds and, as of yet, have come up empty handed as to how they can simultaneously synchronize their movements.  I decided the best place to find answers to this ‘synchronicity’ would be through quantum physics.

I will make this as painless as possible for those who have no interest upon the subject. (How that is at all possible -the having no interest part- I cannot say.)

We have the means to peek in on particles within the atom, these subatomic particles or waves can only be seen in 1 of 2 forms: Where it is?- particle (location), what is its momentum?-wave (movement.)  In asking the question; what form will it take?

The answer is dependent upon what you the observer asks of it. ‘I want to see your location’ or ‘I want to see your momentum’. Because it is dependent upon what you ask of it, the particles, therefore, it is an uncertainty to absolutely know what it is until observed.

‘The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle’ states that: ‘it will take on the form YOU are expecting or wanting to observe!’ It is simultaneously BOTH until we decide to measure its location or momentum.

Scientists have separated two electrons that where created together (don’t ask) and shipped them off to who knows where, only to find that whatever was done with one was done to the whole, and at the precise moment!

Are you a Fatty-Pants?

Hey, I’m a fatty-pants too!!

I have, however, dropped 25 pounds recently!

Wanna know how? Thought so.

Bay & Cyd = Got the Goods!

Let me begin by saying that I am without religion when it comes to diets, as I am under the sweet delusion that they are neither good nor bad.

They are simply a schedule of disciplines

that do or do not work according to

individual beliefs and preferences.

Have you ever noticed that we, the professional dieters, have had success with certain food programs in the past- but somehow when we return to them— They are not as effective?

Why do you think that is?

Could it be that the mind is not in the same place it once was, and therefore, neither is the body? I assert that it is not about hormones or proper food combinations; it is about our thinking!

Story Time!

Once upon a time in the 70’s, ‘health food’ was brought into my life via my mother. She bought buckets of whole wheat and would grind it weekly for the sake of our souls. This was a noble act on behalf of her children and I applaud this kindness because it was, well, a lot of damned work and more costly than a box of Kraft’s-Mac-n-Cheese.

Unfortunately, I was unable to digest wheat, so you can imagine the distress this brought me. It is not unlike the ‘lactose intolerant’ taking on the Ayurvedic diet. (I can picture them now running through the halls doin the green-apple-quick-step in search of the loo, cursing that Deepak Chopra!)

So, maybe it’s not in our best interest to believe any one diet is the Holy of Holies in the long list of culinary cults. It would be more prudent to do what works for you as an individual. What you choose to eat is not part of this discussion.

How is the question?

How to begin your Online Business

We love the internet online marketing business! With all it’s promise of untold fortunes and dreams fulfilled. We sit in awe.

Not only that, we’ve ordered every online marketing tool we could afford, (and others we couldn’t) we took courses, joined forums, and downloaded yet another e-book.

Wow! We feel ready now! Uh….no, no we don’t. Feeling kind of sick and confused is more accurate.

What went wrong? Hmm…signs of Overload Despair Disorder are creeping in and squelching our hopes and enthusiasm. ODD, isn’t it?

You’d think with all our cool gadgets, e-books, and memberships, we’d be on our way! So what’s the problem?

No one gave us the “Start Here Button!”

Online marketing is so broad and diverse, you get nauseated just observing the multitude of paths you ‘should’ be walking.

Always remember: You will never know everything about the internet business. Never!

The minute you think you got it all mapped out in your noggin, something new will arrive on the scene or the tricks you’ve learned will become obsolete.

Have you noticed how you’ve become a prospect of the marketing system and not a marketer at all? The tables have been turned on you!
